
Vision Grant Submission Deadline Extended, 5:00 pm on Monday, September 21, 2026
The 2026 Vision Grant provides financial support ($10,000) to one woman, trans and/or non-binary media creator in Oregon or SW Washington (Clark County). This project-based grant aids in production of a documentary while fostering the artist’s professional and personal development.
This grant is offered annually through Women in Film Portland (WIF-PDX), a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to elevating women in film, communications, and media through education, outreach, and professional development.

After all grant applications have been received, finalists will be asked to participate in an pitch session (to the Vision Grant panel) to determine the grant recipient.
One grant awardee will be selected to receive $10,000 and the opportunity for mentoring.
ELIGIBILITY TO APPLY:
– WIF-PDX active membership
– Project features a minimum of 50% women, trans, and/or non-binary crew
– The project and application do not utilize generative AI.
– Current resident of Oregon or SW Washington
– Production and post-production takes place primarily in Oregon
– Project is in production (principal photography has commenced)
– Project is a short film (30 minutes or less) and is a documentary film
– Have not been awarded a Vision Grant in the last 4 cycles
Deadline to apply is 5:00 pm on Monday, September 21, 2026.
Finalists will be notified in November 2026 and the recipients will be announced publicly at the annual Holiday Party on November 20th, 2026.
