Women in Film – PDX is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 member-funded organization dedicated to elevating women in film, communications, and media through education, outreach and professional development, in and around the Portland area and is the Portland chapter of the international association of Women in Film.

The current Women in Film board of directors are comprised of eleven professional women working in film and media production in varying capacities. Our collected experience is broad and includes: producing and writing for companies such as PBS, OPB, and KGW, documentary film directing, commercial film directing, professional video editing, teaching film, acting, journalism, and film distribution. We market our events through our mailing list, on our websites, and through our social media channels.
