Laura Bernards has been working in the Portland television, video and marketing industry since 2006. She started her career on the east coast working at network news programs like ABC News’ “Good Morning America,” and the CNN Washington bureau. She was fortunate to work at National Geographic Television on an Emmy awarding special for PBS, “Arlington: Field of Honor,” and produced for the National Geographic Channel. Relocating back home to the west coast, she landed on the OPB/PBS series, “History Detectives.” She’s produced videos for clients like Travel Oregon, New Seasons Market, and the Make a Wish Foundation of Oregon & SW Washington. Most recently, she’s been back at OPB producing for “Oregon Art Beat.” Laura enjoys being involved in the Women in Film community and is passionate about authentic storytelling and strategic communications, whether for company clients, or for documentaries.
