Our generous funder is Catherine Blanksby, an active investor in Oregon Venture Fund, who enjoys spending her time connecting people and projects to funding. Catherine is also an Executive Producer of “The Good Seed,” a documentary in pre-production about the life of Dave Dahl (creator of Dave’s Killer Bread). She is a native New Yorker who has produced and edited content for MTV, Olympics, USA Networks and more. Ms. Blanksby believes there is an undeniable power behind women nurturing women, and that the gifts women choose to share with each other ripple through the community in multiples.

One grant awardee will be selected to receive $5,000 at the WIF-PDX annual holiday.
